Thyme to take the next step for Paula as she opens new tea and coffee shop in Ashby

By Graham Hill 19th Apr 2021

Moment in Thyme Tea Room and Coffee Shop has opened in Ashby - with the owner taking her dream to the next level.

The shop is based in The Pass Courtyard, off Market Street, and it opened for business yesterday (Monday).

Moment in Thyme describes itself as a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

It has been the dream of Paula Beniston, who has been a Chef for over 20 years, to own and run her own tearoom.

The business, over the last year, has been run from Paula's home.

But it has grown over that time, delivering celebration cakes, afternoon teas and baking kits to the North West Leicestershire and Charnwood areas.

So much so that, when the premises in Ashby became available, it was ideal for Paula to take her dream to the next level.

She is looking forward to serving her customers old and new with coffee, tea, breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and other treats - together with taking orders for her celebration cakes and home deliveries.

Paula can be contacted at Moment in Thyme on 07494 508552.
