Road through Ashby to be closed for part of the day

A road closure is due to be in place on a busy road connecting Ashby town centre today (Wednesday).

It will affect Kilwardby Street between Hill Street and Trinity Close.

The road is expected to be closed between 9am and 3pm.

This is so that Leicestershire County Council can carry out carriageway patching.

Diversions will be set up along Abbey Drive, Ingle Drive, Westfields Avenue, Burton Road, Derby Road and Market Street,
