An Ashby road is closing for three days.

Priorfields has shut today (October 27) so Flagship Construction Ltd can complete a "new foul connection".

The road is closed around 50 metres east of Upper Packington Road.

"Please note there will be restricted access whilst works take place," a council notice said.

"Access will be maintained when possible but there may be delays allowing access.

"Emergency services access will be maintained at all times."
