Burglars staged a broad daylight raid on a home in Moira and got away with a number of items of jewellery.

Leicestershire Police are appealing for information after the theft which happened last month.

A property in Ashfield Drive was broken into between 11.30am and 1.15pm on Sunday, November 20, and the chains and watch pictured below were taken.

PC Katie Ince, the investigating officer, said: "I'd like to speak to anyone who recognises these items and has seen them, or been offered them for sale.

"Likewise, I'd like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone acting in a manner that seemed unusual or suspicious.

"Please cast your mind back.

"Any details you're able to provide could help."
