Suspected Theft: Police Called Out To Ashby Car Park

Police were called out to a suspected theft of plant equipment in Ashby on Friday night.

It is believed the incident was taking place in the car park next door to the Royal Hotel site in Station Road where work is currently being carried out.

Officers were alerted with the theft in progress, and they carried out a search when they arrived, but nothing was found.

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said: "Details have been left with the owners to contact police with details of any crime committed or property stolen."
