The results of a survey to identify improvements that could be made to the Bath Grounds in Ashby, have been published.

The Bath Grounds Advisory Group, on behalf of Ashby de la Zouch Town Council, conducted a short survey regarding the Bath Grounds - which is often referred to as Ashby's Jewel in the Crown.

A social media post by the Town Council said: "The response rate was excellent – with nearly 500 visitors to the Grounds completing the survey.

"The top three answers for improving the Bath Grounds were"

• additional seating;

• the installation of a children's play area/or outdoor gym;

• more shrubs and flowers.

"The Bath Grounds Advisory Group, and the Town Council, will be using the results to plan potential improvements and changes to the Bath Grounds, budget constraints permitting of course.

"Many thanks for all of those who took the time to complete the survey – your input is really appreciated."
