Calamity Jane the Musical at Ashby School
The Ashbien Musical Theatre Group will be performing Calamity Jane the Musical between 18 and 21 February at Ashby School.
The AMTG is an amateur musical theatre group that has been performing in Ashby since 1962, with members from age 14 to 70.
Expect gun-slingin' songs, toe-tappin' tunes, and a whole lotta heart as Calamity and the gang turn Deadwood upside down. From the dusty trails to the saloon swing doors, this rootin'-tootin' musical is packed with laughs, romance, and classic showstoppers like Deadwood Stage and Windy City!

Ibstock Soul Club at The Central Bar
This February, two resident DJs Richard Reed and Sean Taylor will be playing the best of Northern Soul and Tamla Motown on vinyl with special guest DJ Mick Reynolds.

Robin Hood at the Babes in the Wood
Heart of the Forest Dramatic Society will be performing 'Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood' at Gresley Old Hall Community Centre on Sunday 21 and Sunday 22 February.
'In order to catch the Babes, the wicked Sheriff and his henchman, Dennis have come to the village school run by Winnie Widebottom, the Dame. They are dressed as sweet little schoolgirls and wear belts with assorted weaponry…
'With a stellar cast and lots of laughter, you will be in for another show stopping performance.'

Coalville CAN Open Day
Coalville CAN is holding a family open day on Sunday 22 February from 11am to 2pm.
Expect crafts, art, science and wellbeing activities, plus sewing, mending, coding, Minecraft and more! There'll also be free energy-saving giveaways, food and refreshments, and plenty of chances to try something new in a relaxed, welcoming space.
