Ashby's Fake Festival returns to the Bath Grounds on Saturday.

The event features six of the best tribute bands around under cover in the festival tent.

You can make a day of it with food and drink on offer.

Organisers describe it as an ultimate explosion of 'music and mayhem'.

Ashby Open Gardens is back this weekend - on Saturday and Sunday.

Come and visit some beautiful, yet different, gardens in Ashby de la Zouch.

You can see a vast array of stunning and unusual plants in glorious locations.

Tea and cakes available will be available with proceeds going to Midlands Air Ambulance and Bright Hope.

Various gardens are selling a huge range of plants, from the popular to the exotic.

The annual Ashby Gathering Scooter Rally takes place on Sunday in Market Street.

Scooter enthusiasts from all over the Midlands and beyond will be arriving in the town centre, with activities centred on Queen's Head.

As well as the spectacular display of scooters, there will be food served, with live music to keep visitors entertained.

The Ashby Farmers and Artisan Market also returns this Sunday.

Brook Street hosts the monthly event between 10am-2pm.

This is where the heart of Ashby comes alive. Shop local, meet talented artisans, and connect with your community.

You can buy fresh, locally sourced produce, unique artisan goods you won't find elsewhere and there is a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Ashby Methodist Church stages a celebration of Christian Aid's 80th birthday this Saturday.

To mark this occasion, there will be a concert at Ashby Methodist Church at 7pm.

Called 'Notes for a Celebration' the concert features local musicians and will highlight the anniversary and the 80th birthday this year of Mrs Sheila Neate, local resident and indefatigable fundraiser for the charity for over 30 years.

Brew in Market Street is marking five years since it opened in Ashby - so there will be a weekend's worth of events.

On Thursday, there will be the launch of five birthday brews from local breweries - Emperor's, Bang the Elephant, Shiny & Morgan Brewmasters from opening at 4pm - and then Open Mic with Gareth Humphreys from 7pm.

On Friday, there is live music with Julie Tickle.

Saturday welcomes street food with The Burgerologist, followed by Ryan Atter at 8pm.

On Sunday it will be the Lazy Sunday Afternoon session with Tenacious V.

Conkers has two shows this weekend - on Friday, it is the Retro Rock show - and on Saturday night, the Fab Four tribute Hey Beatles take to the stage at the venue in Moira.
