There are a number events around the Ashby Arts Festival this weekend.
The Ivanhoe School is hosting a pop-up arts centre on Saturday and Sunday.
Discover the joy of shopping for unique art and handmade works!
From hand thrown pottery to oil paintings you will find a diverse range of beautiful and unique works for your home or garden and a great opportunity to meet and chat to the local makers and artists who created them.

Also part of the festival is live music at The Venture Theatre in the shape of Skinner and Twitch.
Ashby Arts Festival present a fun night of music with Skinner & T'witch, supported by The Three Rivers Gang.
Drawing on music hall and vaudeville traditions, Skinner & T'witch combine original comedy and satire with folk, flamenco and theatre style songs.
Skinner & T'witch have been on the road since 2014, released five albums and have performed widely around the UK. They have also toured both in Australia and the US.

The Belper Arms in Newton Burgoland is hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday.
This includes the chance to have a go at Petanque, a Charity Dog Show and live music in the evening.

The Moira Mammal Marathon takes place from Friday until Sunday.
