It's Easter weekend, and Ashby's events cover a wide range of entertainment and activities, so hopefully there is something for everyone.

Ashby Art Club's Easter Exhibition is being held at Ticknall Village Hall on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

If art is your thing, then this event is well worth as visit.

There will be artwork from local artists to view and purchase, along with a demonstration at 11am each day.

There is also a café with cakes and drinks.

On Saturday, Charnwood Forest Alpacas has an Easter Farm Party at its site just outside Ashby at Boundary.

Visitors will receive three tokens to experience a variety of exciting activities at the farm. 

From enchanting Alpaca walks, to adorable Donkey grooming, there's something for everyone. Plus, little ones under five years old go FREE!

There is also a bouncy castle, creativity with crafts and delicious farm-fresh food.

Back on an art theme, Blackfordby's Old School Room is staging a 'New Beginnings' Watercolour workshop with Erica Just.

Erica is an artist, illustrator, and paper maker who specialises in watercolour painting. 

She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and has work in Public and Private Collections.

Inspired by seasonal plant formations from seedling to seed head, as seen in an ever changing natural landscape of wastelands, hedgerows, allotments and some formal gardens.

There is also an Ashby Easter Trail which ends on Monday.

You can become an eggs-plorer by helping the Easter Bunny track down his nine friends.

Brew in Market Street is making the most of the Easter holiday weekend with four events planned.

On Thursday, there is live acoustic music with Luke Wynne.

One UK Street Food Pop Up will be visiting Brew on Good Friday, with Greedy Grillaz there on Saturday.

Brew's Lazy Sunday Afternoon Session this week comes from Warren Stanford and Friends.
