Live Music at Twelve

Twelve has live music to accompany their signature cocktails this weekend, with a performance from Lauren May Music on 5 December.

Posting on Facebook, Twelve say: 'Come and enjoy a few festive drinks, indulge in our delicious handcrafted cocktail and experience the buzz.'

Live music will kick off from 8pm.

Spanish Tapas and Wine Night at Lil Bo's Deli

On Friday 12 December, Lil Bo's Deli on Mill Lane Mews in Ashby will be holding a Spanish Tapas and Wine Night.

This evening will include 8 wine and 8 courses of food.

Michael Jackson Tribute Night at The Lyric Rooms

On Saturday 13 December, The Lyric Rooms in Ashby are hosting a festive evening of entertainment with their Michael Jackson Tribute night.

According to The Lyric Rooms, the show will feature 'the most charismatic and passionate of stage energies of any tribute performer.

'With dazzling costumes, stunning choreography, the mannerisms, trademark vocals, the magic and the moves this brilliant Michael Jackson impersonator delivers a Michael Jackson stage performance that transcends its energy and captivates audience's the world over.'

They will also be serving up a three course gourmet meal to accompany the entertainment.

Carols and Strings with Ashby String Orchestra

Ashby String Orchestra will be performing a festive evening of Carols and Strings at St Helen's Church in Ashby.

Including music by Holst, Grieg, Warlock, Kurt Weill, Wilby and Wilcocks, the night will include Christmas Carols led by St Helen's Church Choir.

Funhouse Comedy and Curry at The Lyric Rooms

The Lyric Rooms are back with another Funhouse Comedy and Curry Night on Monday 15 December, with a special Christmas event.

'Topping the bill is winner of BBC New Comedian Of The Year, British Comedian of the Year and tour support for Micky Flanagan who appeared on QI, the energetic and likeable Dan Tiernan with his various tales about his weird and chaotic life.

'Opening the night will be Steve Hall who as well as supporting Russell Howard on tour has also written for TV's Russell Howard's Good News. A member of 'We Are Klang' with Greg Davies and Marek Larwood his deadpan wit is apparent. He captivates his audiences with his mix of intellectual logic, rambling observations and verbalization. 

'Completing the line-up is English Comedian Of The Year and 'So You Think You're Funny Finalist' ,the dead pan Tom Taylor. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he boasts an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.'
