Ashby Show

Enjoy one of the biggest agricultural shows in the country this weekend at Cattows Farm.

Taking place on Sunday 12 July, enjoy family entertainment, jaw-dropping stunts and the best our area has to offer in this fantastic show case.

From competitions for best in show to young farmers' tug of war, the main stage has a packed itinerary throughout the day including falconry, an RAF display and a classic car and tractor parade.

St Helen's Church Festival of Archaeology

From 8 - 20 July, St Helen's Church in Ashby is holding lots of events for their Festival of Archaeology.

These events include:

• Guided tour of St Helen's Churchyard - Saturday 11 July from 2pm
• Children's Workshop - 'Churchyard Detectives' - Monday 20 July from 10am to 1pm

Motiv8 Open Day

Motiv8, a boxing, fitness and martial arts studio in the heart of Ashby, is inviting residents to come and get a feel for the club at their upcoming open day.

The open day is taking place on Friday 11 July from 10am to 3pm, where visitors will be given a warm welcome, a tour around the studio, the chance to meet the team and get a feel for what the club has to offer.

There will also be live demonstrations from the coaches, exclusive membership discounts and the opportunity to ask any questions.
