Saffron Catering, an outside catering business based in Appleby Magna, is hosting 'A Million Dreams Charity Ball,' to raise funds for the UK's first respite holiday village for children with critical illnesses and their families. 

Speaking about the event, the organisers said: 'your presence and support will help us make a genuine difference to children and their families who need it most. Together, we can help their dreams come true. 

'We'd love for you to share this meaningful evening with us.' 

The ball will kick off with canapes and a drink reception. This will be followed by a delicious three course meal, before being wrapped up with a silent and live auction. 

The evening will include a special guest host, live entertainment from TikTok star 'Steph Sings' and a DJ and disco.  

This special event will raise funds for the Kids' Village Charity, who are working to make a special space in nature for children with long-term illnesses and their families, to rest, have fun and be looked after. 

When the first Kid's Village is complete, it will be a custom-made space in the heart of the UK in the Staffordshire countryside to give the children and their families a safe and supportive bubble with people in a similar situation.  

The ball will take place on Friday 6 February at The Crow's Nest, The Waterfront, Barton Marina. Tickets cost £110 per person or £800 for a table of 10.
