Ashby Netball Club are launching a brand-new Walking Netball Club, taking all the fun of netball but at the player's own pace. 

The Netball Club invite the community to come along to one of their upcoming tasters' sessions to give it a go. 

This fun, social and inclusive club is a great way to stay active, meet new people and try something new, at a slower pace. 

The sessions are designed for all ages and abilities, ideal for those returning to exercise, recovering from an injury or looking for a new way to keep fit and meet new people. 

The taster sessions will be taking place at Grandville School from 6pm to 7pm on the following dates: 

• 11th September, 
• 18th September, 
• 25th September, 
• 2nd October. 

Walking Netball does what it says on the tin – it's netball but at a walking pace. This makes the sport lower impact, adaptable and inclusive for different needs. 

Speaking about Walking Netball, Carla Garey, a representative of the club and owner of Saffron Outside Catering, said: 'Walking Netball is about much more than fitness – it's about fun, friendship, and feeling part of a team. 

'We're excited to bring this fantastic initiative to Ashby and hope it will encourage people of all ages to rediscover the joy of the sport in a supportive and relaxed environment.'
