Visitors to Moira Furnace and Country Park warned of repair work to popular visitor attraction

Visitors to Moira Furnace and Country Park have been warned that maintenance work has started at the visitor attraction.
North West District Council says that the repairs are likely to last for around seven and a half months.
But it has been highlighted that no work will take place during the weekends.
The District Council says: "If you're planning a visit to Moira Furnace, please be aware that we've started vital maintenance work to fix leaks within the furnace building.
"There will be scaffolding going up next week, but the nearby businesses will be open as usual.
"We're not planning to carry out any work at weekends and are aiming to finish the repairs within 30 weeks.
"At the same time, the National Forest Company will be carrying out improvements to the canal towpath, to protect the path and make it more accessible for everyone to enjoy.
"Some sections of the towpath will be closed on weekdays from the start of March to early April, but there will be short diversions clearly signposted along the route.
"We are aiming to keep disruption to a minimum. Thank you for your patience and support."
