Tickets for the new North West Leicestershire Community Lottery are now on sale, with the first weekly draw taking place next month.

The local lottery has been set up by North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) in a bid to raise money for charities and good causes throughout the district – including uniform groups, heritage groups, sports clubs and community groups.

Tickets are available to buy online HERE at a cost £1 each - players could win up to £25,000 and the first draw will be made on on Saturday, August 24.

Draws will take place every Saturday at 8pm.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for people to support a good cause of their choice, whilst also getting the chance to win up to £25,000.
