Quiz Night at The Plough Inn

The Plough Inn is holding a quiz night on Thursday 11 June, kicking off at 7.30pm.

This general knowledge quiz costs £2 per person for teams of 6 and has great prizes on offer, as well as a great excuse to enjoy a pint and a good laugh on a Thursday night.

70s Funk Stars at CONKERS Waterside

This Saturday night, four piece powerhouse act 70s Funk Stars will be bringing the funky disco fever to CONKERS Waterside Arena.

From dancefloor anthems to soulful grooves, this show is sure to get the crowd dancing along to the infection beats of the 70s.

There will also be a licensed bar and burger shack on site to fuel your evening.

Fake Festival

Ashby's popular Fake Festival is back on the Bath Grounds this Saturday from 11.45am to 11pm.

Featuring cover bands performing Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, R.E.M, Kings of Leon, Blondie and Fleetwood Mac, this lively local event is held inside a giant marquee with food traders and a quick bar.

War of Independence Weekend at Moira Furnace

This weekend, a brilliant group of re-enactors will be at Moira Furnace for a weekend all about the American War of Independence.

The weekend will consist of demonstrations, patrols, and even a skirmish, giving visitors a chance to learn about life in both the British and American armies.

Street Food at Brew

As always, Brew has another fabulous street food pop-up this Saturday.

Between 5pm and 8pm, Dosa South Indian Street Food will be serving up loaded curry bowls, Dosa, short eats and homemade chutneys, all of which pair great with a local pint.
