A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following reports of a shooting in Albert Village on Wednesday evening.
Leicestershire Police said this morning (Friday), that the man, aged 35, was arrested in Derbyshire on Thursday night - he has since been released on bail.
The incident is reported to have happened at a wake being held in the village.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "A man has been arrested after a firearm was discharged in Albert Village on Wednesday evening (26 July).
"Police were called to an address in Covert Place at around 6.30pm following a report three men were injured and that firearm had been discharged by another group, who then left the area.
"One man in his 50s received minor injuries while the two other men – one in his 30s and one in his 40s – are continuing to receive treatment.
"Their conditions are not life-threatening.
"Enquiries to establish what injuries each of the men suffered – and how – are continuing."
Detective Inspector Emma Matts, from the Complex Investigation Team (CIT), said: "While one man has been arrested, our investigation is very much continuing.
"I'd ask anyone who thinks they can provide information about what happened, but who has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.
"Any details you can provide, no matter how insignificant you think they are, could help."
