There is lots going on this weekend in Ashby, including the Rotary Club Santa Funrun and Christmas Market.

Along with festive cheer, these events will both also bring road closures to town centre for residents to avoid.

On 6 and 7 December, the following restrictions will be in place:

Full closures:

• Market Street
• Brook Street

Temporary one-way system:

• Lower Church Street
• Derby Road
• Bath Street
• Wood Street
• Elford Street

Clearway (no stopping):

• Derby Road
• North Street
• Wilfred Place
• The Green
• Lower Church Street
• Trinity Close
• Station Road

In addition to these closures, there will also be increased traffic and delays on Sunday 7 December for the Ashby Rotary Santa Fun Run and Walk.
