Road closures confirmed for Ashby's Soapbox Derby 2026

Excitement is building once again at Ashby's popular Soapbox Derby prepares to return this weekend.
The town centre is set to be filled with supporters as soapbox teams make their way down the 200-metre course.
Taking place on Market Street on Sunday (17 May), the route will feature twists, jumps and chicanes.
Free to watch, the event will also see a number of local roads closed.
Details have been confirmed by Leicestershire County Council.
