Corkscrew Lane near Ashby is set to be closed for three days in February.

The route linking Leicester Road and the A511 Ashby to Coalville route will be shut so that a 'new infrastructure installation' can be installed.

Leicestershire County Council Highways says: "The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of three days commencing on February 26, 2025."

The area is adjacent to the site of the new G-Park warehouse complex just outside Ashby.

Leicestershire Highways says: "A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Corkscrew Lane, Coleorton/Ashby de la Zouch between A511 and Leicester Road (see weblink).

"The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Openreach to safely facilitate new infrastructure installation.

"The TTRO will incorporate a temporary 30mph speed restriction. These works also require temporary traffic signals."
