Road works will be in place for five nights on the Ashby A511 bypass this week.

Leicetershire County Council Highways say that the work will affect the stretch of dual carriageway between Discovery Way and Boundary from tomorrow (September 6) for five nights - between the hours of 8pm and 6am.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place to protect the work force.

There will also be restrictions on the approaches to the Smisby Road and Ashby Road, Boundary, roundabouts.

The work is so that the County Council can work on white lining, marking and road stud replacement.
