Poluce say they will be 'taking action' against youths causing anti-social behaviour in areas of Measham

Leicestershire Police say they are ready to take action against youths causing anti-social behaviour in Measham.

The North West Leicestershire Forest Beat Team are acting in footage of incidents around the skate park and Measham Leisure Centre.

They have warned that this behaviour is not acceptable and have urged the public to report it if they see it.

A social media post on Saturday said: "The Forest Beat Team are aware of ongoing issues relating to a group of youths causing anti-social behaviour within Measham.

"Typically the skate park on Bosworth Rd and Measham Leisure Centre.

"Please be assured that your local Policing team and partner agencies, such as the Leisure Centre are taking this matter seriously.

"Anti-social behaviour is not acceptable. And positive action will be taken.

"Currently we have clear footage of the perpetrators and will be taking proportionate and necessary action.

"We thank you for your continued support and encourage you to report any incident. You can report incidents by any of the following means:

• By calling 101 (or 999 in an emergency).

• By emailing- [email protected]

• Or via social media by sending a message to either Leicestershire Police on Twitter or Leicestershire Police on Facebook.

"Alternatively, you can report anything anonymously to Crimestoppers either online or by calling 0800 555 111."
