Police say they have identified group of around 10 youths causing anti-social behaviour problems in the Moira area

Police say they will taking action against a group of youths who have been causing anti-social behaviour around the Moira area.

There have been problems with the group around Moira Co-op, Moira Furnace and Conkers.

North West Leicestershire Police said today (Monday): "We are aware that a group of approximately 10 youths have been causing ASB around Moira over the last few weeks.

"The group have been causing issues at the Conkers site, Moira Furnace and Co-Op in the village - with reports of damage, verbal abuse, littering to name a few.

"The members of the group have been identified by officers and can expect visits from Police over the next few days.

"Antisocial behaviour is not tolerated by Police or our communities and we are working together to deter those involved from this behaviour and the impact it has on our communities."
