North West Leicestershire Police are investigating an incident at Albert Village Lake last weekend.

They are looking into reports of anti-social behaviour involving wildlife.

It was reported one person was throwing stones and acting in an aggressive manner towards the area's birds.

And police want to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.

The area's Rural Police Team have posted online and said: "Appeal - were you a witness?

"Were you at Albert Village Lake on Saturday 4th July 2020 at around 4.30pm?

"We have received a report of some antisocial behaviour at the above location, this report was specifically in relation to wildlife.

"Did you see/hear anything? If so please make contact with us and raise it for the attention of PC 237 Emma Holmes from our Rural Crime Team."
