Police Chief Confirms Cannabis Factory 'Destroyed' in Ashby - And Praises Night Of Arrests In Region

North West Leicestershire's Police commander has praised another night of drugs arrests in the region.

Inspector Rich Jackson confirmed a cannabis factory had been destroyed in Ashby on Friday with one arrest made.

He also said there had been two arrests made for drug offences in Ibstock and said that more action is likely to follow.

Inps Jackson tweeted on Saturday morning: "More great work by the team last night with a cannabis factory destroyed in Ashby & one arrested. Two also arrested for drug offences in Ibstock.

"Thirty-plus warrants and closure orders now completed to tackle drugs in North West Leicestershire in recent weeks with more to follow…."
