North West Leicestershire Police say they have now identified an 18-year-old woman they want to speak to after an assault in Ashby town centre.

Three women were attacked by two others in the early hours of the morning on March 29.

One teenage woman has already been arrested following the incident, and has since been released on bail.

But now, police will speak to another woman after releasing a CCTV photo.

A North West Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "At around 1.20am on Friday, March 29, three women – two in their 20s and one in her 30s – were attacked by two other women in Market Street.

But a police update issued today (Wednesday) says: "Yesterday (Tuesday, May 21) an appeal was issued to identify a woman following a report of assault in Market Street, Ashby.

"The woman who was pictured has now been identified.
