The annual Ashby's FABulous event took place yesterday (Saturday) in the town centre - and it was bigger than ever.

With the help of Ashby de la Zouch Town Council and the newly set up Ashby BID, the organisers made a real day of it.

A number of shops had 'live' models in the window - and the town council set up a base in the middle of Market Street so that visitors could find out more about what was happening.

The theme this year was Enchanted Ashby with businesses letting their imaginations do the rest.

But the aim was to get people to shop local and make use of the businesses right on their doorsteps.

We had our photographer out and about on the day and here are a selection of some pictures.
