Jim's Tractor Run raised almost £2,000 for the North West Leicestershire charity Bright Hope on Sunday.

The Tractor Run convoy travelled through Ashby's Market Street before heading to Blackfordby and Norris Hill, before finishing at the Bath Grounds where a family event attracted a huge crowd in the afternoon.

In all, the day raised what is being described as an 'amazing' sum of £1974.35 for the Swannington-based Bright Hope which offers a range of therapeutic and social care services.

The charity supports individuals who have a life-limiting condition or one that leads to a significant reduction in quality of life, as well as offering support to their partner, carer or family.

Organiser Jim Hoult said he wishes to thank everyone for their kind donations.

Town Centre Manager. Stuart Benson, said: "The town came out in force to support the event, which still appears to grow in popularity each year.

"It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces lining the streets on the run."

Here are some photos and video of the day on the road and at the Bath Grounds (all photos and video: Ashby Nub News).
