On Sunday 9 November, Ashby will mark Remembrance Sunday with a parade and Services of Remembrance at St Helen's Church and Holy Trinity. 

There will be two parades leaving from Ivanhoe School at 9am. 

The senior parade will form up at Ivanhoe School and head to St Helen's Church, following this route: 

• Form up at Ivanhoe School at 9am, 
• Turn right into North Street, 
• Across Elford Street, 
• Turn left into Derby Road, 
• Turn left into Market Street 
• Turn right into Lower Church Street

The annual service of Remembrance will take place at St Helen's Church at 9.30am. 

Following the service at St Helen's Church, the parade will form up follow this route to the War Memorial: 

• Form up in Lower Church Street, 
• Turn left into Market Street down to War Memorial

At the War Memorial on Brook Street, there will be the Act of Remembrance and laying of the wreaths.

The junior parade will follow an alternative route to the senior parade, going from Ivanhoe School to Holy Trinity. The route will be as follows: 

• Form up at Ivanhoe School at 9am, 
• Turn left into North Street, 
• Turn right into Market Street, 
• Follow Market Street straight on to Kilwardby Street.

The All Ages Service will then take place at Holy Trinity from 9.30am. 

Following the service, the Juniors will go along the following route to meet the end of the main parade at the War Memorial on Brook Street: 

• Form up at Holy Trinity, 
• Turn right out of Holy Trinity along Kilwardby Street, 
• Turn right onto Bath Street, 
• Turn left onto South Street and join end of main parade
