An Ashby de la Zouch opticians has welcomed a new audiology partner to head up its hearing service.

Pramit Pancholi has joined long-standing optical director Kully Bains at Specsavers Ashby de la Zouch to run its dedicated hearing care offering, for the local community and surrounding areas.

The team celebrated the launch with balloons and goody bags, offering free hearing checks to customers in-store.

'We are delighted Pramit has joined the team to head up our hearing service. His dedication to the hearing needs of our community is second to none,' says Kully Bains.

Has also offered training to the team in-store so they can offer customers support and advice on their hearing. Pramit is skilled across a wide range of audiology services from helping customers to find the best hearing solutions, carrying out hearing checks and wax removal.

"I'm thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to growing the business with my fantastic colleagues as we help to meet the increasing demand for hearing services locally,' says Pramit.

"Whatever your ear care needs, we're here to help and the service means customers can visit Specsavers Ashby de la Zouch for both their eye and ear care needs.

"As with your vision, your hearing is likely to deteriorate over time, so as well as having a regular test once you turn 60, you should book an appointment if you notice any problems or issues.

"Sadly, we know that fear and stigma mean that people are still putting off getting their hearing checked, but it's important to remember that any hearing changes you might experience as you get older are very normal. And, if a change is picked up, there will be a hearing device that works for you and will mean you'll be able to hear the sounds you've been missing."

Appointments are available every Sunday to Thursday with customers able to have a free hearing check which takes between 30 minutes and an hour. Customers can also access free parking when they visit in-store.

The team say they will be on hand to run through the wide range of hearing devices and technology on offer and discuss the best option for your budget, lifestyle and needs to help fine-tune your hearing.
