Local Elections: Result of Ashby de la Zouch division vote

John Coxon has held on to the Ashby de la Zouch division seat at the County Council elections.

Cllr Coxon, the leader of Ashby de la Zouch Town Council, won almost 50 per cent of the vote with Labour candidate Debra Jackson gaining 30 per cent.

The turnout at the polling station was 38.74 per cent.

The final results were: John Coxon (Conservative), 1964 votes; Debra Jackson (Labour), 1190; Carl Benfield (Green) 508; Sheila Wyatt (Lib Dem) 168; Claire O'Callaghan (Freedom Alliance) 89; Adam Tilbury (Reform UK) 46.
