A Facebook page dedicated to finding the dachshunds stolen from Acresford three months ago has posted a reminder that information about the dogs' whereabouts is still needed.

In all, eight were stolen from the home near Measham - leaving owner Shelley Tomsett saying she felt 'sick to her stomach'.

Two have since been found, but six are still missing.

A post on the Swadlincote 8 Stolen Dachshunds page says: "A new profile picture has been created for the remaining six dachshunds that are still out there.

"Please don't stop searching for these little ones.

"When checking selling sites, check for stud ads and litters of puppies too please...we need to keep on top of absolutely all of them now.

"If you see anything suspicious, please do not hesitate to call or message direct.

"Do not post any leads publicly.

"Thank you all for everything you are doing for these dogs, you are amazing."
