The Lights of Love event at the Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold, will return in December and organised by North West Leicestershire charity Bright Hope.

It will be the first major event since the charity changed its name from Hospice Hope and will take place on Sunday, December 3, at 4pm.

This special event gives people the opportunity to hang a personalised tag on the Ferrers Centre's magnificent courtyard Christmas tree.

You are invited to attend and dedicate a tag – whether in memory of someone dear to you, or to show a family member or friend that you are thinking of them.

The tags remain on the tree until January 6 and provide a moving sight.

Now in its 21st year, taking part in Lights of Love remains simple.

Tags for people to write their personal message on will be available from Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire from late October.

Lights of Love is free to attend, and donations for each tag are welcomed to help Bright Hope to provide a range of support services for free to local people.

You can donate via Bright Hope's Just Giving page HERE.
