Join In With The St Helen's Church Easter Egg Hunt This Weekend - And Your Design Could Win A Cash Prize

7th Apr 2020 | Local News

St Helen's Church is organising an Easter egg hunt for children this week - and we at Ashby Nub News are offering a £20 prize for the best design.

The people of Ashby are being asked to colour in, draw or paint - or decorate - an egg shape.

An egg shape is available from the email address below off if you want to use that for your design.

The idea is to then to put the completed decorated eggs in front windows, as prominently as possible, so that local children can have an Ashby-wide Easter Egg Hunt when they are out on a walk as part of the permitted exercise during the Coronavirus restrictions.

But please, make sure they are in your window by Saturday morning.

And if you want to be in the hunt for a prize, email a photo of your creation [email protected].

St Helen's will also be organising 10-minute online get togethers for children over Easter.

These will be on Maunday Thursday, April 9, 12noon; Good Friday, April 10, 12 noon; and Easter Sunday, April 12, at 12 noon. They will be on the St Helen's Church Facebook page and the website.
