Since the outbreak of the war, petrol prices have sky rocketed nationwide, which, paired with increased queuing and some stations running low, has made buying petrol a bit of a nightmare.

Today (April 7), the best price for unleaded petrol within a five mile radius of Ashby is at Midway Service Station on Burton Road, DE11 7ND, costing 150.9p.

In second place is Asda in Woodville, costing 152.7p, followed by Tesco Extra in Ashby costing 153.3p.
