How To Book A Slot For Bulky Waste Removal In Ashby When Collections Resume Next Week

North West Leicestershire District Council will be resuming bulky waste collections starting on Monday.

The council has compiled a list of acceptable items should you need anything removed List of accepted bulky waste items

You can now call 01530 454545 to book a collection slot for Monday May 18 onwards.

The council will collect up to three items per slot, for a £25 charge

It can also collect up to three additional items at a cost of £5 each - which will require a separate collection slot

But the council cannot collect soft furnishings due to risk of Coronavirus contamination.

All collections will take place on a Monday.

The council adds that if you receive housing benefit, council tax support or income support you are entitled to two free collections per household per year.

But you need to have proof of benefits ready before you call.
