Home safety advice available this week for Ashby residents from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service

Following three house fires in Ashby on Friday 21 November, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue will be visiting the town this week to offer advice and home safety checks to residents.
The fire service will be visiting Holywell Avenue, Clifton Drive and Preston Drive on Tuesday and Wednesday this week to give members of the public home safety advice.
This has come after three house fires broke out within 20 minutes on the morning of Friday 21 November.
A 50-year-old man has been charged with three counts of arson with intent to endanger life following the fires.
No one sustained life threatening or life changing injuries by three people were taken to hospital for treatment. One teenager was treated for burn injuries and smoke inhalation with another teenager and adult being treated for smoke inhalation.
The crews will be at Holywell Avenue and Clifton Drive between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday 9 December and Prestop Drive between 10am and 3pm on Wednesday 10 December.
