Heartless thief takes wheelchair from house in Ashby after it was left outside by mistake

A wheelchair has been stolen from outside a home in Ashby.

Leicestershire Police are appealing for information regarding the incident.

The wheelchair was stolen sometime between 12.30pm on Monday, March 21. and 8am the following morning (Tuesday) outside an address in Rouen Way.

PC Kevin Kelly is investigating the incident.

He said: "Unfortunately the wheelchair was left outside by mistake, and when the family went to check the following morning, it was gone.

"As you can imagine they are extremely upset it has been taken and we would urge anyone who has information about its whereabouts to get in touch.

"Anyone who has any information, no matter how small it may seem, is urged to contact us."
