Pooch Parties are staging a Valentine's Day Themed Party on Sunday at the White Hart pub's Garden Room in Ashby - with Dachshunds, French Bulldogs and Cockapoos all invited.

The company organising the event says it is a chance for dog owners to treat their canine companions to a day out where they can socialise, meet friends, run around and play in a safe space.

There will be themed photo corners and a line up of tasty treats.

The event follows on from the Pooch Party Christmas Edition - where they had three separate parties, one for French Bulldogs, one for Dachshunds and one for puppies.

Sunday's timetable looks like this: 12:30 - 13:30 Dachshunds; 14:30 - 15:30 French Bulldogs and 16:30 - 17:30 Cockapoos.

The owners will be looked after too with the bar open to order food and drinks.

Pooch Parties say it is breed specific in order to create a unique experience where dogs can interact with their fellow breed and owners can enjoy finding out about their quirky traits.

At the moment, events are local with the view of connecting the dog community in the area.

Pooch Parties are run in aid of a good cause with a donation included within ticket prices for dog charities which may vary between events.

Due to limited space - this is a strictly booking-only event and you will need a confirmed booking to attend. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Booking fees are: £7.50 per Adult; £5.50 for under 16's your dogs allowed in free.
