Despite causing traffic chaos on Thursday evening and Friday morning, lots of local people have made the best of it, building snowmen, making snow angels and taking lots of photos of pets enjoying the snow.
We put a call out on Facebook asking our readers to send us some photos of what they've been up to in the snow, and you did not disappoint!
