Market Street store Pennies Worth has highlighted a number of incidents in their shop - including a man blowing his nose on a pair of socks before putting them back on the shelves.
The shop, which only opened last November Newest shop is a Worthy addition to Market Street but has posted instances of customer behaviour which it has described as 'disgusting and gross'.
Instances of shoplifting by local schoolchildren have also been mentioned - with the shop contacting Ivanhoe College to complain.
Pennies Worth posted last week: "It is very unfortunate we have to post this.
"Every week we have to deal with pupils of Ivanhoe College school trying to steal stock from our shop!
"We are one step ahead. CCtTV and staff are vigilant always.
"Parents please, if your kids attend the school, make them aware, if caught, we shall be forwarding images to police and school, insisting further action is taken.
"Some kids are lovely. But quite a few are thieves. The school has been made aware. Disgusting behaviour ! Did not expect this in Ashby."
However, earlier this week, the store, which sells a wide variety of goods, alerted the town to the behaviour of a man wiping his nose on some socks.
Another Pennies Worth post said: "This is just disgusting behaviour.
"This man should be ashamed of himself.
"Blowing his nose into a pair of socks at our shop and trying to leave.
"He was confronted, as we have full CCTV in the shop and made to purchase them.
"We thought Ashby was a lovely place to open a business. No offence, so many of our customers are amazing and we really do appreciate you shopping with us.
"But in this current situation of Covid as well! Why! Why would you do this? Absolutely vile. If you know him, have a word ! First school kids, now this, gross."
A spokeswoman for the shop - which also has a store in Atherstone - told Ashby Nub News the noseblowing incident cannot be tolerated.
She said: "It's absolutely disgusting and we've had to highlight this as the last thing we want is germs being spread.
"Had we have not caught this on our CCTV system, someone else could have purchased the socks unknowingly!
"We are a company that won't stand for shoplifting. The school has been contacted and we've had a visit from a teacher and will be following that up today (Thursday)."
