Fran is winner of Indulgent Chocolates competition after Ashby store celebrated its second birthday

Indulgent Chocolates has announced the winner of its second anniversary competition.

The Ashby store, based in Bath Street, ran a contest last mont to guess the weight of their birthday cake.

Even owner Keith Tiplady did not weigh it until the deadline for entries had passed.

But when he did, he found it was just over 3kg.

The closest guess was 2.3kg, which was made by Fran Barney, from Ibstock.

Fran owns the No Frills Refills shop and works with a number of businesses in Ashby as a result.

And her calculations earned her an Indulgent Chocolates hamper worth £35 - with Keith able to put together a bespoke presentation depending on taste.
