North West Leicestershire Police's Forest Beat team has confirmed its priorities for the first quarter of 2024.

Officers plan to focus on three areas, at Moira Furnace, Oakthorpe and in Measham.

Moira Furnace has had to deal with a number of incidents in recent years.

But police want to target anti-social behaviour in and around what is a popular visitor attraction.

In particular, those using off-road bikes or taking drugs will be the main issues.

But in Oakthorpe, officers will be clamping down on drug dealing in the area.

In Measham, police want to address the problem of vehicle crime.

A number of motorbike thefts have been reported around the Atherstone Road area.

The Beat Team says these priorities will be reviewed again at the end of March.
