The sliproads connecting Measham Road in Ashby with the A42 will be closed for a total of 10 nights next month.

Leicestershire County Council will be carrying out work at the junction so that safety barriers can be improved.

One-way road closures are to be put in place between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.

The first set of works will begin in February 8 - and this will involve the closure of the northbound access for six nights.

Then, the second phase will be concentrated on the southbound closure, beginning on February 13 for four nights.

The county council says the work is centred on the roundabouts at the junction with Measham Road and the A42, Ashby de la Zouch between A42 Entry and the exit sliproads.

The TTRO will incorporate temporary one-way road closures.
