Football: Ashby Ivanhoe Fixture Is Washed Out

Ashby Ivanhoe's Midland League Division One game at second-placed Brocton due to be played on Tuesday night, has been called off.

A waterlogged pitch means with the Stafford-based club has been postponed.

The surface was in good condition on Monday but Ivanhoe tweeted on Tuesday: "Pitch was looking okay yesterday but overnight rain on an already saturated surface has made it unplayable! A new date to be announced soon!
