Fishers Solicitors have completed their move to the Ivanhoe Business Park in Ashby.

The long-established Ashby company began leaving the old offices in Kilwardby Street last month after being there for more than 100 years.

And the transition has now finished just ahead of the Christmas holiday.

Fishers is now based outside of the town centre, but they explained that the move came after significant growth with the new location offering opportunities to strengthen its presence in Ashby, while providing a modern and contemporary setting to meet clients and expand the already rapidly growing team.

The new offices are a five minutes drive away and director Amanda Payne said the change was a necessary one.

"The decision to move from our beloved offices at Kilwardby Street in Ashby de la Zouch has not been an easy one to make as our presence on the High Street has been felt for well over 100 years!," explained Amanda.

"We have, however, recognised that we cannot continue to expand our team without moving to a bigger office space.

"Our new offices are bright, attractive and welcoming, and a reflection of our business.

"We're looking forward to inviting clients to our new building and delivering the same high-quality service that they are accustomed to,

"To achieve Fishers long term growth plan, it is fundamental Fishers office environment delivers the right office culture and space to expand our already growing and evolving workforce.

"In the past year we've had 14 new starters including a Commercial Property Solicitor, two Dispute Resolution Solicitors and a Wills and Probate Solicitor."

Fishers believe the new offices are the perfect place to project the company vision, and house their next generation of lawyers.

Earlier this year Fishers promoted two new partners within the business, Sarah Henfrey, Finance Director and Guy Birtwistle, who heads up the Wills, Tax, Trusts and Probate department.

As part of their commitment to providing outstanding service, Fishers ensured that their move was conducted as a gradual process and that the office on Kilwardby Street has retained a small number of staff, so that clients are confident that there will not be any disruption to appointments or services.

The Fishers office is located on Unit R within the Business Park and clients, friends and professional contacts both existing and new, are welcome to make an appointment through the Fishers website or over the telephone.
