Everything you need to know about the 2025 Ashby Show

The annual Ashby Show will be returning to Cattows Farm in Leicestershire on Sunday 13th July.
This is always a popular local event with a jam-packed schedule of events and shows to get stuck into.

In the main ring, there is a massive variety of events happening from Motorcycle Stunts, show-jumping, Young Farmer Tug of War and more.
Here is the planned time-table for the day (though these times may be subject to change):
- 9.00-11.00 Heavy Horse Classes
- 11.00-11.30 Derwent Valley Gun Dogs
- 11.30-12.00 Young Farmer Tug of War Competition
- 12.00-12.45 Stannage Stunt Team
- 12.45-13.15 Parade of Vintage Tractors and Classic Cars
- 13.15-13.30 approx - Spitfire Flypast
- 13.30-14.30 'The Breedon Accumulator' Showjumping
- 14.30-15.00 The Grand Parade
- 15.00-15.30 Vintage v Modern Machinery Baling Demonstration
- 15.30-16.00 Modern Machinery
- 16.00-16.30 Stannage Stunt Team
- 16.30-17.00 Ashby Rugby Football Club
Additionally, there will also be a sheep show, the Clwyd Axemen, Ferretworld, Derwent Valley Dog Scurries and an Education Hub.

On The Village Green there will be a hive of activity, showcasing traditional crafts and artisan goods. You will be able to watch basket making, stone carving and much more.
Back by popular demand, the giant tortoises will also be making an appearance on the village green.

For music lovers, local folk band 'Calling Time' will be performing.
There is also a lot of hands-on activities, such as trying Archery with the Ivanhoe Archers, crafts with the Women's Institute and children's entertainment with fun stalls and games.
Tickets cost £17.50 in advance for adults and £5 for children.
Gates will open at 8.30am and close at 5pm.
