Donisthorpe's secret knitters have been busy again ahead of Remembrance weekend.

The post box on the corner of Church Street and Chapel Street is adorned with a fitting tribute to all those that have lost their lives in wars.

The Lancaster Bomber has been crocheted, poppies have been attached to veil which cascades down the post box and the green has been planted with homemade poppies.

The whole display has been described as 'amazing' by the village's residents.

It will be on show until the day after Remembrance Sunday and then it will be removed.

There will be a short rest before, hopefully, another similar display for Christmas.
