North West Leicestershire District Council says it will be carrying out spot checks on local businesses to make sure they are sticking to Covid regulations.

The Council will be using Health and Safety Executive officers to ensure that companies are Covid secure.

Although lockdown is easing over the next few months, the council is aware that regulation are still needed in the workplace.

The council's social media says: "Make sure you're following the guidance."

And it says businesses should consult the following page HERE.
